I approach design as a story building process.

What story am I telling? To whom am I telling it? And what visual building blocks do I need to tell the story clearly and effectively?

Whether I'm scanning watercolor paper to get just the right texture for a poster background, creating custom vector illustrations for a mobile app, or finding just the right type pairings for a print publication, I am always looking for the best possible building blocks for each visual story.
